Interesting Move

Post by Gomoto »

A move not played by the pros:

It seems to be interesting for black to play F5 in preperation of C4.

C6 is no longer a good response for white to the black move at C4 after F5

Looking forward to experiment with the move at F5.

That is kind of cool. The b6 follow up is also interesting. B5 was something I’ve seen before with this two stone shape.

I don’t know when to use b6 vs b5.

The problem with C6 if black has the f5 exchange is now when black bumps at c5 and White stands at d6 black push d5 White block then e6 cut is now sente not gote because it's atari.
