An interesting problem from a Shusaku - Shuwa game. Shuwa was prepping Shusaku as heir to the Honinbo house. Shusaku was black in this game, and had the game in the pocket. Move 140 was a final test of Shuwa for Shusaku. The left side is dead, but only if you answer correctly.

If white takes the two stones, black cuts him off with :b2:.
