More Go Videos

Post by serapis »

For those of you who do not already know, I set up a livestream account (which could be found here http://www.livestream.com/batslectures) awhile ago in order to record my lectures as well as my games, all with commentary. It was well received, videos began to accumulate, and everything was fine...for awhile. Trouble is i quickly ran out of the room allotted to me on livestream.

After experimenting with a host of different ways to back up the videos, from bittorrents to free services such as mediafire, I've finally come up with a nice solution. Youtube.

Now you may be wondering why it took so long to decide on youtube. Problem was Youtube's time limits for videos; they didn't let you upload longer than 15 minutes. That's no longer the case. Select users who have proven themselves not to breach copyrights have had their time limits removed entirely. Mine included.

So, as of now, I'm going to be backing up my videos from livestream onto my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/dwyrin in order to make room for more lectures and games.

Hope you all enjoy

All nicely grouped and the videos in good quality ... I really like it.

Have just sent you a little Pay Pal donation. Hope others will do so as well, so that you will keep providing this great teaching material.

Thank you very much for your generosity, spongebob. I'm sorry the quality of the videos isn't better. My harddrive died not too long ago resulting in the loss of raw video i could have used for HD. Instead I'm stuck with what livestream encodes them as.

Also, thanks for the sub frenchdude. Subs and likes on the videos helps me to know what you guys want to see more of on the channel.

Easy: we love your live commented games. The mediafire solution was great, as we could dowload the files to watch offline, but I guess youtube is easier for everyone.

You should still be able to download them off youtube. Off the top of my head i know of a program called jdownloader which will catch youtube links for download.
