Korean Embassy Cup game (9k)

Post by Mnemonic »

This was the most interesting game I played last weekend at the Korean Embassy Cup in Berlin. My opponent lost on time (Yes, I was cheap enough to take the win but it would have been fun to play it to the end) I briefly showed it to a 3k friend of mine and he said that the game was extremely close, what do you think?

This was also the first 19x19 game that I could remember after I played it  Maybe I'm not that bad at go after all.
(I'm white btw)

Thanks to everyone that comments

Here's my take. The game seems pretty well played by both of you, but I think you should have placed more value in connecting your two groups along the top (which I touch on plenty of times :P )

We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.

Thanks Dusk Eagle! Yeah I suppose I got luck in the top left corner :D Didn't know that G16 represented such a weakness (show's what I know) It's just that the slide confused the heck out of me. When taking the 33 in the corner I was afraid of a double approach but I think I was just hallucinating
