Replacement for Topazg
As you probably have heard, Topazg is taking a sabatical. So we need a replacement.
Back when we had moderator elections ( http://www.lifein19x19.com/forum/viewto ... f=9&t=2957 ) the person in fifth place for four spots was EdLee. So we promoted Ed to fill the vacancy.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Re: Replacement for Topazg
Yeah, thanks for stepping up, Ed.
I met Ed recently at Congress. It was fun, though he confided that he had the impression that I was significantly younger than I turned out to be. Maybe that's a side-effect of choosing dinosaur pictures. =)
I figure, his assumption about me was only fair, as I used to have one about him. For the longest time, I had the impression that he was a 3-5d, and I always went out of my way to go through his game reviews. The "Broken shape for W" comments opened my eyes a lot, and helped me improve.

Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].
