Go Apps for iPhone

Post by Desmond »

Greetings,

There are quite a few apps continuing to be produced for the iPhone. As with most of the contents of the AppStore, some of these are very high quality while others are cheap knockoffs. I would like to know which apps you find useful and which you had a bad experience with.

Thanks,
Desmond

iGoban doesn't do very much, but it's very pretty to look at. And free.

I think you are refering to the iPad-App (which is nice). Or you mean iGobang which is horrible (stones are placed inbetween intersections...).

Yes, you're right. I am referring to the iPad app - didn't pay close enough attention to the thread title.

For online play, there are a multitude of options - Tygem, IGS, DGS, Wbaduk clients all exist.

Smartgo Pro/Kifu/Books are all great apps.

Take a look at senseis library and search for iPhone there. I've updated a list of apps there lately. It is not complete but the most important software is listed.
