Skype and Go -"Visiface Go Circle"

Post by Tami »

How about this for an idea? I am hoping that Gabriel will find a way to include a webcam feature into Kayago, but obviously there are bandwidth logistics to consider. In the meantime, though let's set up a group of players who would be willing to run Skype while playing online on KGS. The idea is that when we play each other, we can see each other and make it more like a solid-world game. Please sign to this list and add the people on it to your friends list on KGS.

I dunno, there's some advantage to being able to hide any emotion. Over the internet we can all be stone buddhas :)

nah, I'd give up anonymity in a heart beat for ease of communication. I'm a slow typist and IM-speak is so easily misunderstood. One of the best aspects of Go is the social interaction (though I rarely go to club meetings anymore :) )
