Diagrams Should Work Now
I haven't tested it out a ton, but the go tag diagrams should work now. Please give it a shot, and leave a comment here if you have problems.

Re: Diagrams Should Work Now
Oooh, do we have the latest version?
Doh! We should be able to drop in the latest version, no? Also, minor quibble: the captions don't work. Getting things like "show diagram code" working is useful for things like Malkovich games too.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get on it a bit later today.

Re: Diagrams Should Work Now
Thanks Kirby!
A request: I'd like to be able to slide diagrams over to the right abit, so that I can do multiple diagrams in an outline style, to have leading space not be suppressed.
In other words, in a Malkovich game, I want to be able to do something like the schematic in purple below:
The current position is this:
+------------------------------+
|++++++++++++++++++|
|++++++++++++++++++|
|++++++++++++++++++|
|++++++++++++++++++|
|++++++++++++++++++|
|++++++++++++++++++|
+------------------------------+
There are two reasonable replies, A and B
A looks like this
..........+------------------------------+
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........+------------------------------+
He can ignore A,but he dies as shown below
..................+------------------------------+
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................|++++++++++++++++++|
..................+------------------------------+
B looks like this:
..........+------------------------------+
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........|++++++++++++++++++|
..........+------------------------------+
While you are under the hood, can you do that?

As of right now, I have purchased everything needed for at least the next 7 months. The hosting service is paid through until December. And the domain name is paid up for 2 years. Donations are not currently needed.
The only reason donations may be needed:
1. Upgrade current hosting plan. The current plan is not "unlimited", however an unlimited plan seems to not be necessary. If I use the highest amount of daily traffic the site has received so far as a baseline for everyday use, in one month we would have only used .05% of the allotted bandwidth. (cost of upgrade if community wants it is approx. $80 per yer. Total server cost would run between $160 and $200 per yer on the upgraded "unlimited" service.)
2. domain renewal
3. hosting service period extension. (Hosting service is paid through December 2010, we can extend that time period with donations if wanted. Cost of renewal approx. $20 per yer)
I'm thinking...

No problem. I think figuring out how to use bbcode effectively was the hardest part, so it should be smooth sailing, now. Actually, maybe we could make some new features that GD didn't have before... But after I'm home from work.

Re: Diagrams Should Work Now
to do this just wrap the go tags with indent tags for the middle diagram and center tags for the bottom diagram. ex:
Code: Select all
[indent][go]diagramcode[/go][/indent] and [center][go]diagramcode[/go][/center] I'm thinking...

Thanks. Ideally, I'd like nested indents.
Heck, while I'm wishing, I'd like arrows ( multi-colored ) and clouds or regions ( sort of likethe purple 'define region' function of eidogo, but not limited to being rectangular - also multi-colored )

Re: Diagrams Should Work Now
Diagrams are now working. Wooooo!
However, diagram captions currently overlap the diagram itself. Please see:
