I found this forum after some googling and from what i've read so far it seems to be quite nice here.

I'm 23 and have known about go for some time now, but I only started playing it recently to get a change from chess at first, but I guess now I just like it better .

I'm currently plowing through the loose 100 games asap (with quite some success I might add, losing is kinda my home-run-swing it seems) and I hope being here helps me a little to get better.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know the members.

/me is currently residing in Hessen.

I hope you're playing in a club and not solely on the internet. Internet go is fun, but playing in person is much better in every respect.

I currently live in Nürnberg, but I spend about every second weekend(and probably most of my summer) in Aschaffenburg, so thats not too far away from Hessen =).

Its only internet-go right now, I thought about looking for a club of some sort, but I decided to leave that until after my finals are done.

But yeah, chess was always more fun in person than over the net, I expect this to be the same
