Hey guys,
This week I'm giving a workshop about fighting techniques. I want to focus on attacking.
Now I don't only want to teach attacking techniques, but also I want to give to teach the students about thickness. I want them to learn when they need to attack and when to defend (i.e. build thickness). So I need some situations where one of the players shouldn't attack, but instead should build thickness. It's kind of hard to find these problems, so some help of you guys would be much appreciated.
Also any problems on splitting attacks and leaning attacks would be very helpful.
Hope you guys can help! ^^
Greets,
Pancake

You will find some worked out ideas if you google the GoGoD Cencepts Library. The examples under Leaning Attacks, Walls and Yoritsuki seem best suited to your present quest, but there may be enough there for later seminars, too.

Re: problems about making thickness
Oops, sorry. It used to be on the New In Go page but it looks like we took it down (can't remember why), so it's now only available on the GoGoD CD.
