Hello, everyone! I am doing a university project on intellectual games (mostly go), and for such purpose I need data about players and their ranks, say a nice sample of maybe 150+ players (1000+ is preferable though). Chinese, Japanese, Korean or European players - it doesn't really matter.
You can give me a link or send me file here.
Thank you!:)

Re: Players rank distribution
The ranks of all players on major servers, like the KGS, are visible. For example, here are the Top 100 players on the KGS - https://www.gokgs.com/top100.jsp
Or were you hoping for AGA/EGF rankings? The AGA has a ratings look-up system. This page will give you the ratings of every AGA rated player - http://www.usgo.org/ratings-lookup-name - be warned, it will take a while to load. It took about 30 seconds for me on my broadband connection with a decent Core i5 laptop. Also, not every player in there has a rating, they are just AGA members.
Was there any other information you needed?

Every ranked player in Europe. If you email the admins you can probably get the data in a nicer format.

Re: Players rank distribution
I did not know that was available, Herman.
Is the entire history of games available by any chance?
