Panda-Tetsuki client chat problems

Does anyone else who uses the Panda-Tetsuki client have problems when chatting during a game, and trying to close the chat window, having a stone (usually A19, top left) placed while you are trying to click "Done"? I love the app, but this one feature really causes some problems with opponents who don't understand English and for whatever reason won't let you undo what is obviously a misclick.

The idea of having the chat window overlay the board is a reasonable one, I suppose, but the repeated occurrence of A19 misclicks and having to go through the pain of undoing that move (and subsequent ones when opponents don't realize the error) is really annoying.

I use the app on my Samsung S3 Android 4.3 and have chatted (usually with the pre-canned phrases though sometimes a typed "..." to test connection) without seeing that problem.
