Re: 4-4 double keima approach disaster

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that, best to avoid the double hane before the shape D15 cut is fixed then.

Fantastic signature quote by the way.

Re: 4-4 double keima approach disaster

Ok, next time I'll get it right and not lose so easily (I hope). Thank you for sharing your wisdom, EdLee!

Re: 4-4 double keima approach disaster

I tend to screw up a lot with moves like 11 at the most crucial time of an exchange... ^^; Should I focus on tsumego, joseki or something else to get these kind of moves right?

4-4 double keima approach disaster

Hello there, I started playing on Tygem again and in the process losing a lot of hair over unexpected moves that keep throwing me off over and over again. How should I play after white's E17? Just connecting seemed common sense to me, but that didn't turn out so great in the end.

Thanks in advance ...

Being slaughtered on Tygem

Hello,

playing on Tygem around the 6k level, I tend to either win by a large margin or get beaten severely. I get thrown off balance easily by unexpected moves and also don't know how to handle the 2-space high pincer well. Please review my game a little, I am white in this game. ^^

Thank you in ...

Re: one-point jump galore (3k game)

Ok, thanks. I was thinking about just giving up my pincer stone, but I was afraid it would be too big a loss. Must stop thinking losing a single stone isn't always such a big deal.

one-point jump galore (3k game)

Hello, this game escalated into a one-point jump fest towards the center pretty quickly, but I had no idea how to handle the situation properly and ended up losing by time. Would anyone be so kind to tell me what I did wrong? (aside from reading errors of course)
