just skip to B214, as you can see, the opponent chose not to put anything down for about 3 moves. then the pieces managed to stay alive. winning me the game. if it didn't manage to do that ...

Your second game was better. You had no really big mistakes. The worst that I could say was that you made a lot of unduly conservative moves, strengthening yourself instead of going after the opponent's weaknesses.
Just be a tad more aggressive and you will get several stones stronger.
