hailthorn VS Mokum (Hahn Tournament)
This was a very fun game, as I've said numerous times already (lol). And I already know I played this game pretty fast. Still a habit I need to break. This game was with Cyclops. I'm not sure I could've won without the 2 stones.
Actually, looking back, I feel confident I should have lost this game.

Thank you for the review. You pointed out a lot of things that make sense. And it was quite easy to understand, too. Hopefully these are things I'll start to remember.Redundant wrote:Some comments. No guarantees

Yeah, looks like 85% or more of the time when pros play that there's a stone somewhere along the side:Shaddy wrote:Move 12 is not joseki: you need a pincer stone for it to be joseki.
Agree, that seems to be played when there's no pincer:Shaddy wrote:Joseki is q13 or n16
Also, this is played occasionally when there's no pincer:
That which can be destroyed by the truth should be.

Thx for the comments so far. Mostly concerning black.
Hailthorn deserved his victory. He punished my many errors very well, most of the time. I still would like to get some comments on my play in this game. In the sgf I included some lessons I learnt already from this game. All comments are welcome.

Thx Herman,
Many lessons learnt!
- 1,2,3 principle
- being more optimistic to avoid reckless moves
- keep concentrated in the endgame, play your own speed.
