Re: EidoGo Security Vulnerability Alert
As a programmer, here are a couple of relatively simple things you can do:
1st possibility:
When parsing sgf data, remove html tag if any. The drawback is that some information will be lost. Some strings like <a> will be erased during the process even if they were not actually html tags (in the ...

Re: EidoGo Security Vulnerability Alert
I am the author of maxiGos (http://jeudego.org/maxiGos/index.php?lang=en) which is a sgf web player similar to eidogo.
MaxiGos has not this vulnerability.
Maybe this can help people that cannot patch eidogo easily themselves.

Re: Group Tax
Here is my summary of go rules evolution:
1) Someone found that placing as many stones as possible on a grid using a capture rule and a no repetition rule is an interesting game (stones scoring).

We do have a large reserve at GoGoD that has yet to show up in the database.
Critical information! Many thanks!

[quote="fanfan"]Hello,
Here is a variation.
Question: Black to play. Can White place a living stone on both the 1-1 of the top left corner and the 1-1 of the bottom right corner?
Note: ko is probably not an option for White since he cannot win a ko fight in both corners.

When Chuck Norris want to be kind with someone, he wins by playing only pass moves.
That means that pass move is not the best for sure!

Did line thickness, line spacing width and lengthwise stay the same besides the more generous edges?
Line thickness are the same in both directions (about 1mm). Line spacing widthwise and lengthwise cannot be the same. They can be computed using goban width and length, respectively (438mm-14mm ...
